Morning Talk: Technology and the Lottery Industry
Lecturer: Windisch Gergely
Windisch Gergely has BSc and MSc degrees at Óbuda University around 2005 and stayed there for about 11 years. He gave lectures in all fields of IT - mainly Operating Systems, Programming, Networks, IT Security. In 2017 he got a great opportunity from his current employer: Scientific Games and he has been a Platform Engineer at this company for 7 years and counting. They supply the devices used in the lottery industry all over the world (including the Hungarian Szerencsejáték Zrt). Windisch Gergely is responsible mainly of the operating system that runs on the devices - it usually means Linux hacking but occasionally working in C++ and Java.
